Artist's Comments

Taken before a lightning storm in central Oklahoma.

The weather here is crazy, but you can watch storms coming from miles away before they get to you.

I took several photos, but this was the only one that didn't come out too blurry to work with! (some fussing with contrast and curves to compensate for my experimenting with different camera modes, none of which were the right ones)

Woooooah...that's really cool. It kinda looks like a tidal wave...albeit a very fluffly and pink tidal wave...but it kinda has that feel.

That is very beautiful, kind of foreboding and haunting. :+fav:

Amazing. I love thunderstorms because of things like this. (But I really don't like hail, and I'm scared of tornadoes.)

It makes me think of cotton candy, nebulas, and things under a microscope.

I have a brain. I just don't use it much.
